Job summary

Avnet in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, evaluate, and deploy quality assurance tools and methods for assigned areas. You will monitor manufacturing and business processes, collect and analyze data, and support root cause investigations and CAPAs.

The role collaborates with engineering, production, and operations teams to reduce defects and improve process performance, while adhering to ISO quality management systems and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of quality systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with RCA, CAPA and change control processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process flows.

Responsibilities

• Support the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and business processes.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and process reviews.
• Help maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects and improving process performance.
