Job summary

Plastic Ingenuity in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Engineer to help ensure the highest quality of manufactured parts. You will test processes, monitor standards, create documentation, and define tests to meet customer expectations while keeping production effective.

You will develop quality practices, SOPs, and relevant documentation; investigate problems and propose practical solutions. Collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Production and Customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
• 3 years of related experience in a Quality role.
• Demonstrates high ethical standards and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production and customers to define specs.
• Use and troubleshoot advanced measuring equipment and software (CMMs, Vision Systems).
• Develop quality plans and process control plans for customers.
• Perform qualifications on parts (PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ) where applicable.
• Apply Six Sigma methods (PCDA, SPC, DOE) to improve processes.
• Lead teams on complex projects and ensure compliance with GMPs.
• Train other team members.
