Job summary

Plastic Ingenuity is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. You will inspect, test, and measure products to ensure they meet customer specifications and our standards, and you will work closely with production to identify quality issues.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of inspection experience, strong math and reading of specifications, and good communication. You will help maintain ISO/GMP compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of quality inspection experience.
• Strong math and measurement skills; ability to read and interpret specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of identifying defects and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and quality testing of manufactured parts.
• Read and interpret quality control specifications and customer requirements.
• Verify products meet dimensional and quality standards using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Identify, investigate, and document nonconforming products.
• Analyze inspection data and report quality concerns.
• Operate precision measuring equipment (CMMs, calipers, gauges) and ensure calibration.
• Communicate quality requirements and testing expectations with production staff.
• Support ISO and GMP compliance and contribute to continuous improvement.
