Job summary

Deceuninck North America in Monroe, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes and drive improvements using Six-Sigma, DMAIC, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA and capability studies to boost efficiency and Customer satisfaction with measurable KPIs.

You will collaborate with the operations team to foster a quality culture, manage training records, and contribute to the ongoing development of QMS policies and SOPs, with Green Belt certification preferred or pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering as stated.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing plant quality improvement projects.
• Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain; Black Belt preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Experience with SOP writing and quality management systems.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems a plus.
• Statistical analysis experience (Minitab).

Responsibilities

• Identify new quality improvement opportunities with management.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues and identify solutions.
• Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation and improve capabilities.
• Collaborate with operations to foster a quality culture and utilize LSS tools.
• Coordinate implementation, monitoring and review of quality training records.
• Assist with development and implementation of QMS policies and procedures.
