Job summary

Janitza North America is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality, reliability, and performance across power monitoring products. You will conduct testing, troubleshooting, RMA evaluation, and data analysis while collaborating with global teams to drive improvements.

The role involves hands-on testing, failure analysis, and documentation, with up to 25% travel. A 0-2 year background in quality engineering or related field is expected along with a BSEE or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of quality engineering, electrical testing, or product validation experience.
• Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, electrical, and acceptance testing per procedures.
• Support product validation and qualification activities.
• Test and evaluate RMA and field-returned devices.
• Record and maintain test results and supporting records.
• Identify failures and escalate for investigation.
• Support firmware/configuration verification activities.
• Assist in developing and improving test methods and fixtures.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Document investigation findings and maintain records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel up to 25%.
