Job summary

Janitza LP, the North American arm of Janitza electronics GmbH, is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Ashburn, VA. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on configuration, installation, and commissioning of hardware and software at customer sites, with up to 75% travel and remote work options.

You will be the primary technical resource in the field, perform on-site testing and training, document results, and collaborate closely with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; 3+ years field experience acceptable.
• Experience configuring, testing, and validating hardware/software integrations.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of hardware and software solutions.
• Act as primary on-site technical contact for customers; provide guidance and training.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and maintain site activity records.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful delivery.
