Job summary

A Part of Something Bigger is seeking a Quality Engineer or Sr. Quality Engineer to join a tenured team in the Minneapolis area.

The role collaborates with operations, manufacturing, and product engineering to establish quality standards and metrics that ensure product acceptability. You will lead cross-functional problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions for internal and supplier quality issues, visiting suppliers and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (quality, engineering, or related).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality within manufacturing.
• Strong mathematical background for statistics and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality standards, specs, and metrics for product acceptance.
• Act as primary liaison with customers or suppliers on quality issues and perform inspections.
• Visit suppliers/customers to resolve quality issues in routine or emergency scenarios.
• Develop supplier quality audits and audit materials, verify systems on the production floor.
• Ensure accuracy and presentation of quality docs, reports, and data.
