Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of quality engineering experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency with MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality system documents per IATF 16949/ISO 9001.
• Apply Fishbone, 5 Why, PDCA, 8D for problem solving.
• Lead internal/external audits to support the quality system.
• Lead MRB team for quarantined parts and disposition.
• Serve as quality liaison with customers for training and execution.
• Maintain PFMEA, PPAP, quality control plans and process flows.
• Apply metrology tools like optical comparators, depth micrometers, calipers.
• Train personnel on quality systems on the shop floor and in the lab.
• Verify calibration of lab equipment and maintain calibration logs.
