Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our quality systems within manufacturing environments. You will develop QA protocols, perform failure analyses, and lead lean/6 Sigma deployment across the plant.

The role requires ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO/AS9100 standards, analyzing inspection data, and supporting corrective actions with clear progress reporting. Strong collaboration with customer focus teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science with SMT/QC background and tools like FMEA/DOE.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean-Kaizen experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in computer skills; good interfacing with customers.
• PCB and Contract Manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies QA protocols to inspect materials, equipment, and finished products.
• Ensures compliance with company QA standards and applicable regulations.
• Performs analysis and identifies trends; recommends corrective actions.
• Ensures SPC and process control procedures are followed.
