Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC, is seeking a Quality Engineer PB2 to develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for products and processes, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and FAA requirements within AA TECH's QMS.

You will provide front line support to operations, perform data collection, First Article Inspections, internal audits, and analytical tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical) or Associate’s with 10+ years in a manufacturing quality role.
  • Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Collect data and perform SPC/QA analyses.
  • Coordinate GE DSQR certification activities.
  • Assist internal audits and nonconformance disposition.
  • Support QMS documentation reviews and APQP/PPAP.
  • Provide data analysis for customer requests and CAPA.

Position Summary:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Ensure the organization complies with applicable company and customer requirements including AS9100 and FAA standards as established in AA TECH’s Quality Management System. Provides basic statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. The Quality Engineer PB2 will provide front line support to operations in resolving quality issues within the value streams. Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical Degree) or Associate’s Degree & 10 + years of consecutive experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment setting.
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a teamwork setting

Desired Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • CQA/CQE certification
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products and legal and related

regulatory requirements (APQP/PPAP, FAA, AS9100, AS9102, AS13100, etc.)
