Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies seeks a Quality Engineer PB2 to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for aerospace products. You will ensure AS9100/FAA compliance and provide frontline support to resolve quality issues in value streams. Data collection, analysis, audits, and documentation are key parts of the role.

Responsibilities include First Article inspections, APQP/PPAP support, nonconformance handling, and NPI assistance, contributing to a robust QMS and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Technical Degree) or Associate’s Degree with 10+ years in manufacturing quality.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare First Article Inspection reports and data collection.
• Support GE DSQR certification and internal audits.
• Assist with nonconformance review and disposition.
• Contribute to APQP & PPAP documentation and QMS reviews.
• Provide frontline quality issue resolution within value streams.
• Participate in NPI support and product audits.

Position Summary:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Ensure the organization complies with applicable company and customer requirements including AS9100 and FAA standards as established in AA TECH’s Quality Management System. Provides basic statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. The Quality Engineer PB2 will provide front line support to operations in resolving quality issues within the value streams. Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Technical Degree) or Associate’s Degree & 10 + years of consecutive experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment setting.

• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

(GD&T)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications

Desired Qualifications:

• CQA/CQE certification
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products and legal and related
