Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer for an onsite role under a 9/80 pattern. You will collaborate with manufacturing to ensure inspections, process control analyses and audits meet specifications.

The position requires an Associate/Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or higher, with Lean Six Sigma and SAP/SQL familiarity preferred. Responsibilities include investigating customer escapes, developing QA programs, and reporting quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree, or JD/PhD.
• 5+ years of Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer escapes and perform eight-step problem solving analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures.
• Reporting of Rolls-Royce Corporate Quality performance metrics.
• Develop programs to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and agency guidelines.
