Job summary

Framatome UK is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Quality and Nuclear Safety team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. You will support the quality process to maintain high standards in accordance with ISO 9001 and project requirements.

You will liaise with internal and external customers on quality concerns, manage NCRs and technical queries, and review quality documentation. The role also covers audits, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated nuclear

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required (ONC/BTEC/C&G/HNC/HND or higher).
• Experience with non-destructive testing training.
• Visual Weld Inspection qualification desirable.
• ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 quality management systems and procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external customers on quality concerns.
• Coordinate monthly reviews and progress against quality improvement plans.
• Review and maintain project quality documentation (Quality Plan/Manual, ITP, procedures).
• Raise NCRs, RFIs and Field Change Requests as needed.
• Support LTQR/QRC lifecycle and client comment responses.
• Assist on-site implementation of Lean and Six Sigma activities.
