Job summary

Holtec International is seeking a Level 1 Quality Engineer to support quality systems for the SMR project, ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry codes. You will collaborate with the Quality Manager, SMR teams, engineers, suppliers, and project managers to drive quality across construction and fabrication.

The role requires on-site work in Camden, NJ with relocation assistance available. Candidates should have an engineering degree with QA experience and be prepared to engage

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or AS with QA experience accepted
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 App. B, 10 CFR21, ASME III & VIII
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and tracking quality metrics
• Review purchase orders and material certifications for compliance
• Participate in audits, surveys and surveillances
• Review quality records for compliance
• Support nonconformance investigations and CAPA processes
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues
• Assist in training personnel on quality processes
• Perform oversight at vendor facilities and SMR construction activities
