Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Quality Engineer (Module) to oversee incoming inspections, module-level patrols, outgoing quality, and to update internal quality rules in alignment with industry standards and manufacturing timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in quality engineering, and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with ISO9001 and CAD/Stat/MA tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering (internships considered).
• Excellent logic and analytical abilities.
• Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of quality in the manufacturer.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas not climate-controlled.
• Able to cope with pressure and be a self-motivated team player.
• Proactive approach toward various issues.
• Effective communication at all levels, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and quality tests to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze production processes and designs to identify quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures.
• Collect and analyze quality data to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Participate in design and implementation of quality control processes.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to procedures and regulations.
• Manage raw materials quality for consistency and integrity.
• Monitor supplier reports, yield, and process quality.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation.
• Prepare reports on quality activities.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
