Job summary

Aero Tec Laboratories seeks a Quality Engineer to uphold high quality standards during inspection of ATL products and supplier parts. You will raise non-conformances, explain re-work needs, assist root cause analysis, correction and containment.

You will work with the Quality department, use hand metrology equipment and CMMs, produce control plans, and support testing and process development as needed.

Qualifications

• ISO BMS experience is required.
• 8D reporting experience is required.
• BS EN9102 reporting experience is required.
• Experience using metrology equipment (hand and CMM).
• PPAP submissions desirable but not essential.
• Internal and external audit experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Quality department to support production areas' quality control.
• Use hand metrology equipment to quality control parts.
• Use CMM machines to measure and report on parts.
• Produce control plans and inspection reports (First Article Inspection).
• Assist with testing and process development as required.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits as required.
• Support investigation of root cause and 8D reporting.
• Escalate issues promptly to the correct party.
• Deliver continual improvement across the department.
• Follow environmental policy and promote waste/energy reduction.
