Job summary

The Quality Engineer role at Lipton Teas and Infusions in Suffolk, VA strengthens quality performance, food safety, change management, and quality improvement systems at the site. You will partner with Production, Quality, Planning, R&D, Packaging, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure changes are risk-assessed, documented, and sustained.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CPG manufacturing quality management or similar.
• Experience leading teams is a plus.
• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical or related-field.
• Experience implementing or supporting a manufacturing management system (QMS/TPM/Lean).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient data analysis using Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality pillar of the Lipton Management System to improve quality performance.
• Manage change and new product introductions with risk assessment and documentation.
• Lead quality-focused root cause analysis and improvement projects.
• Coordinate trials and first productions, preparing clear reports.
• Own data accuracy in SAP, PQS, PLM, and related tools.
• Drive improvements to quality workflows and data management.
• Coach frontline teams on quality standards and LMS behaviors.
