Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet customer requirements and to develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and processes. This role collaborates with production and design to drive quality improvements and compliance.

The position emphasizes root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and participation in design reviews, with a focus on internal and external audits and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality specifications, procedures, and standards for products and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and implement quality improvement plans, including corrective and preventive actions, to address quality issues and to prevent their recurrence.
• Participate in design reviews, product development, and manufacturing processes to ensure that quality requirements are incorporated from the early stages of product development.
• Plan and execute internal and external quality audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Provide training and support to team members on quality tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed and maintain compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
