Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing production processes across quality control, inventory management, logistics and material flow. The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, TOC, and problem solving to improve quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • 2–5 years in Quality Engineering or 6–8 years in manufacturing quality.
  • Knowledge of SPC and machine shop gaging.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor and develop quality systems per ISO/AS9100/NADCAP and similar standards.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data to set quality and reliability targets for finished products.
  • Coordinate quality investigations and root-cause analysis to prevent non-conformances.
  • Drive cost improvement and productivity initiatives across QA and inspection functions.
  • Interface with engineering and operations to resolve internal/external non-conformances.
