Precision Castparts, a global aerospace and industrial manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Process Engineer to lead manufacturing process development and control. The role focuses on reducing variability, improving yields, and driving efficiency across production lines.

The position emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials or related Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in airfoils investment casting is a plus.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, define controls, and reduce variability on the manufacturing floor.
• Perform daily audits to ensure procedures are followed on the shop floor.
• Update area procedures to improve clarity and reduce variation.
• Analyze data to identify and control process excursions.
• Continuously improve processes to meet budgeted yields.
• Run engineering trials to evaluate improvements to processes, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in cost reduction, continuous improvement, and NPI teams as needed.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and drive results.
• Interface with manufacturing, management, suppliers and customers at all levels.
• Provide hands-on, floor-level problem solving.
