Job summary

Ontologize, Inc. in Tamaqua, PA is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead global quality improvements for materials delivered to semiconductor customers.

You will collaborate with the Site Quality Manager and cross-functional teams to drive Lean/Six Sigma projects and embed sustainable process changes that reduce variation and defects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, materials science, or similar, with 5+ years in quality or CI in semiconductor/chemical manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, or similar, with 3+ years in quality or CI in semiconductor/chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Quality Manager to set improvement goals and raise quality performance.
• Translate customer feedback into improvement priorities for the site.
• Lead CI efforts to reduce defects, variation, and cost of poor quality.
• Use SPC and metrics to identify opportunities and sustain gains.
• Lead root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams for corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma projects from scoping to sustainment.
