Job summary

Ontic Creedmoor is seeking a Value Stream Quality Engineer to own quality across a full product value stream at our Creedmoor, NC site. You will monitor supply base, manufacturing, and customer requirements, using data and structured problem‑solving to reduce risk and drive continuous improvements.

You’ll apply Lean and Six Sigma methods, develop quality metrics, and lead root cause analysis to address issues and improve performance across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting quality across products, manufacturing processes and supply chain.
• Experience conducting product or process audits and working to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Ability to lead risk assessments and support effective risk‑management decisions.
• Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products and processes are maintained in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
• Perform product and process audits to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead risk assessments and help drive decisions around appropriate risk management procedures.
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities across the product value stream.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and trends using statistical analysis tools to provide visibility into performance.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues.
• Support the development of cost reduction initiatives through continuous improvement and structured problem-solving.
