Job summary

Amerex is seeking aQuality Engineer to operate in a professional office and manufacturing environment. You will conduct root cause analysis of component failures, analyze production data for cost savings, and drive corrective actions to improve quality and COPQ.

The role requires a technical bachelor's degree and experience in manufacturing/quality settings. Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and D365 is recommended, with the ability to work under pressure and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field (Required).
• Zero to five years of career experience in industrial manufacturing, quality, or lab environments (Preferred).
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar data visualization/analytics tools (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis of component failures and quality issues identified on the manufacturing floor.
• Analyze historical production and quality data to identify cost savings and defect reduction opportunities.
• Direct the work of all employees in the Quality Lab in absence of the Quality Manager.
• Departmental Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing Projects.
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Initiate, own, and drive to closure NCRs, including containment actions, root-cause investigations, and documented reports.
