Job summary
Super Radiator Coils in Mesa, AZ seeks a Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality across manufacturing operations. You will own quality planning, risk mitigation, PFMEA, control plans, and CAPA, partnering with Engineering, Production, and QC to prevent defects and improve process capability.
The role requires 3–7+ years in manufacturing quality, a 4-year degree, and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3–7+ years in a manufacturing quality role.
- Experience in custom fabrication, heat exchangers, HVAC, or similar industries preferred.
- Proven experience leading PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- PFMEA, Control Plans, NCR/CAR/CAPA systems.
- Blueprint reading (GD&T preferred).
- Process flow mapping and inspection/test planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Identify CTQ characteristics and ensure proper controls.
- Drive risk-based thinking per ISO 9001.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify variation and risk.
- Lead NCR/ CAR/ CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
- Develop inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
- Support calibration and MSA activities.
