Job summary

Manpower Engineering is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Sheboygan Falls, WI to recruit a Quality Engineer for a DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT position.

The role leads product quality improvements, supports ISO 9001:2015/IATF16949, and advances continuous improvement initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience are preferred, with strong cross‑functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to present information to managers, sales, and customers.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with APQP.
• Internal auditing experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with quality software (statistics).
• ASQ certifications a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above a plus.
• Experience with plastics is a plus.
• Proactive and takes action.
• Excellent listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality leadership for product quality in the assigned division.
• Develop and implement improvements to the quality system.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap.
• Lead PPAP documents for new product launches.
• Coordinate measurements, layouts and testing.
• Review and disposition warranty claims with Sales and Customer Service.
• Travel to other facilities or customers may be required.
