Wakefield Thermal Solutions in Nashua, NH, seeks a Quality Engineer to coordinate quality functions across the facility, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement within ISO 9001 QMS. You will perform audits, review PPAP/APQP with customers, and collaborate with engineering on new product development and quality flowdowns.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, 8D investigations, and leading cross-functional teams to prevent defects and ensure product quality from receipt

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/quality field.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and PPAP/APQP processes.
• Experience leading root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T; proficient in inspection methods and tools.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Coordinate quality functions across the facility, including inspection of parts and assemblies.
• Investigate defects and pursue root cause and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Conduct internal and external audits and track corrective actions.
• Review First Article Inspections and PPAP/APQP documentation.
• Interface with engineering on new product development and technical flowdown.
• Manage MRB processes and disposition of nonconforming material.
