Job summary

IDEX Health & Science seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. You will own quality processes, lead investigations, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with Operations and Engineering.

Requirements include a engineering degree, 3–5 years of quality engineering experience, familiarity with FMEA and ISO 9001, and proficiency with Minitab and ERP/document control systems. Some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years Quality Engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to lead investigations, determine root cause and drive corrective actions.
• Experience with batch and component assembly in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Familiar with FMEA, Control Plans, and statistical techniques.
• Experience with ISO quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
• Familiar with ERP/Document Control systems (Oracle, JDE, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Apply quality metrics, process mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate audits and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Drive supplier and customer quality performance and communicate updates.
• Develop and manage KPIs, databases, and countermeasures for improvements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support training materials for quality and improvement programs.
