Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to liaison between the company and customers on quality issues.

You will support manufacturing and engineering to resolve product quality problems, implement improvements to processes, and ensure ISO standards compliance through internal audits and up-to-date procedures and forms. The role requires 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing and familiarity with 8D and IPC/J-STD-001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a science or technical area/equivalent.
• 3+ years of industrial experience in high-volume manufacturing, automation and quality principles.
• Familiarity with 8D corrective action methodology and QMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance.
• Develop corrective actions and improvements to product.
• Investigate and solve product or production issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams.
• Perform or participate in internal audits.
• Maintain records, non-conforming materials, and calibration schedules.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and management.
