Muncie Power Products, Inc. in Tulsa, OK invites applications for a Quality Engineer in our Manufacturing department.

You will lead internal and external ISO audits, support quality initiatives, assist with warranty analysis, and help drive continuous improvement across assembly cells and supplier issues. The role requires strong inspection, GD&T interpretation, problem solving, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or five or more years of equivalent work experience.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and ASQ Certified Auditor desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Basic inspection skills with hand gauging instruments.
• Basic machining knowledge of fixtures and work holding.
• Proficient with computers and software for quality data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel if required.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop manufacturing and inspection plans and documentation for product assembly.
• Perform daily audits of each product line assembly cell.
• Review and improve assembly techniques for quality improvements.
• Identify, justify, and purchase gauging to support inspection plans.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality problems.
• Monitor quality system performance and initiate corrective action.
• Maintain SCAR and CAR logs and support related actions.
• Develop plans to address warranty issues and validate corrective actions.
• Design work-holding and mistake-proofing devices for assembly tests.
