Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years as an inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Basic inspection skills with hand gauging instruments.
• Basic machining knowledge of part fixtures and work holding.
• Familiar with a variety of inspection equipment.
• Proficient with computers and software used for inspection reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to document problem-solving efforts.
• Able to present information in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Process heat treatment coupons on a regular basis.
• Perform skilled inspections of castings and outside machined parts.
• Support receiving inspection planning for all purchased components.
• Provide hands-on training in inspection gauging, plans, and reporting.
• Identify, justify, and procure gauging for inspection plans.
• Lead non-conforming material review for both purchased and in-house parts.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Conduct functional tests on materials as required.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
