This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with teams across an organization.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.Coordinate internal and external audits and track corrective actions through completion.Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, manuals, and related documentation.Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure established standards and specifications are met.Analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring issues, defects, and opportunities for improvement.Lead root cause investigations using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis, and CAPA.Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.Establish inspection procedures and quality control plans for incoming materials, production processes, and finished products.Support quality requirements for new products and manufacturing processes.Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.Investigate customer quality concerns and coordinate appropriate resolutions.Work with suppliers to address material quality issues and support supplier quality improvements.Track key quality metrics including scrap, rework, defects, complaints, and audit results.Prepare quality reports and present findings and improvement recommendations to leadership.Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.Provide quality-related training and guidance to employees as needed.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.3–7 years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.Experience with root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, audits, and structured problem-solving.Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across an organization.ASQ CQE or CQA certification is preferred.Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.ERP experience, particularly SAP, preferred.Ability to work throughout a manufacturing facility and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.POSITION BENEFITS, PAY, AND SCHEDULE:Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity.$80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.Monday–Friday schedule.100% onsite in Minneapolis, MN.TO APPLY:Please upload your resume to this job posting along with your contact information and a brief cover letter.
