Job summary

Module X Solutions, LLC in Shreveport, LA, seeks a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing processes and uphold quality standards in line with ISO9001. You will investigate nonconforming products, lead internal audits, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing, an engineering degree, and knowledge of 8D/5Why/CAPA tools; CQE or Lean Six Sigma is a plus. On-site role with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• CQE or Lean Six Sigma belt is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Take actions on nonconforming product and customer complaints.
• Determine and track departmental goals.
• Lead internal audits of the quality management system.
• Ownership of the Quality Management System and maintain ISO9001 compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement product improvements.
• Create documentation of quality processes and work instructions.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Support transition to audit-based QA with process controls.
