Job summary

Module X Solutions LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer in Shreveport, LA to support manufacturing processes and product quality, ensuring adherence to ISO9001 standards. The role covers nonconforming product actions, audits, root-cause analyses, and process improvements, with collaboration across production and engineering teams.

Required 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and familiarity with 5S and RCA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• CQE or Lean Six Sigma belt is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading 5S initiatives.
• Experience with RCA tools (8D, 5Why, CAPA, fishbone).
• Experience with ISO9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes appropriate actions on nonconforming product and customer complaints.
• Determine and track departmental goals.
• Performs internal audits of the quality management system at prescribed intervals.
• Ownership of the Quality Management System and maintains ISO9001 compliance.
• Performs root cause analysis and implements improvements in products.
• Create documentation of quality processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintains equipment calibration and supporting records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Assist in transitioning from inspection-based QC to audit-based QA.
• Ownership and improvement of Non-Conformance Reporting systems.
