Job summary

Vesuvius North America in Illinois offers a quality and process engineering internship. You will assist QA activities, collect and analyze data, and support troubleshooting of production issues.

You will learn lean manufacturing, document SOPs/WIs, participate in trials, and collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams. Eligible engineering students with strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Production, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field), preferably with second year standing or higher.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a hands‑on, technical environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
