Job summary

Textron Aviation is offering a 2027 Internship in Quality Engineering in Wichita, KS. The program focuses on supporting quality improvements in products and processes and aligning with regulatory expectations.

Interns will participate in audits, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process enhancements across manufacturing and aftermarket areas, with on-site work and a 10-week summer timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise Quality systems and procedures as directed by management to ensure documentation is compliant to current practices.
• Conduct Government and FAA requested audits and investigations and report on corrective action steps taken to prevent recurrences when necessary.
• Gather and analyze performance data (scrap, rejections, defects, rework) to aid in the development of process improvement projects. Coordinate with other production and functional areas to ensure maximum quality and efficiencies.
• Conduct process or product based audits in production or functional areas or within the supply base (external suppliers).
