As a Quality Engineer - Summer Intern 2027, you will support quality activities, documentation, internal audits, and corrective action efforts while working with a cross-functional team to prepare policies, processes, and procedures for the revised ISO 9001:2026 standard.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

1. Quality Systems and Documentation
   * Provide support for the development and implementation of quality activities and procedures to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001:2026 standard.
   * Develop, revise, apply, and maintain quality procedures, quality plans, and related documents.
   * Support coordination of revisions to policies, processes, and procedures to meet the requirements of the revised ISO 9001 standard.
2. Cross-Functional Quality Projects
   * Work with a cross-functional team to support quality system updates related to the revised ISO 9001 standard.
   * Collaborate with personnel at Brentwood, Cuba, and Monroe City.
   * Assist with ISO internal quality audits.
3. Root Cause and Corrective Action Support
   * Assist teams with root cause analysis and development of corrective actions.
   * Support corrective action activities related to internal and external quality issues.

Travel & Working Environment

• * Hybrid role based in Brentwood, with collaboration with personnel at Brentwood, Cuba, and Monroe City.
• * Occasional or seldom travel may be required; less than 10%.
