Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and maintain production quality systems across manufacturing and test. You will analyze performance, drive corrective actions, and ensure documentation and audits meet AS9100/ISO9000 standards.

You will interact with internal teams and customers to address quality concerns and support safe spaceflight. As a member of the Quality Engineering team, you will report to the Quality Engineering Manager and help advance quality practices, training,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• 5+ years' proven experience as a Quality Engineer in production.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM systems.
• Ability to support manufacturing schedules and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain and enforce quality system processes.
• Measure, analyze and improve quality system performance.
• Integrate quality systems between engineering, manufacturing and operations.
• Lead root cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents and nonconformance records.
• Perform periodic audits of quality system application and train teams.
• Interface with customers on quality concerns and communicate issues.
