Job summary

ComTec Information Systems (IT) is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality plans, control plans, and inspection checklists. You will monitor First Pass Yield, analyze customer complaints for root causes, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams during audits and certifications (UL, CSA, ISO).

The role emphasizes COPQ analyses, cost savings, and process mapping to identify automation opportunities and improve product quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum)
• Proficient in quality tools: FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D RCA

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Control Plans, and inspection checklists with CTQ parameters and Q-gates.
• Monitor First Pass Yield and implement quality improvements for efficiency.
• Analyze customer complaints to determine root causes and coordinate with cross-functional teams during audits, FAT, and certifications (UL, CSA, ISO).
• Perform COPQ analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and map manufacturing processes for automation improvements.
