Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Chandler, AZ is seeking a quality engineer to enhance customer satisfaction by managing quality issues and driving continuous improvement. You will lead investigations, support defect detection accuracy, and ensure compliance with internal/external requirements.

The role performs audits, supports qualification of new products and processes, and maintains quality system standards, with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; may consider equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of quality experience in manufacturing
• Experience with quality systems standards
• Familiar with statistical software and/or other quality tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies to identify problems and provide solutions and/or recommendations to implement corrective/preventive actions
• Analyze defective product and/or processes to determine root cause and provide input on corrective/preventive actions to prevent future failures
• Perform internal and external audits on product/processes to ensure compliance to specifications. Review and approve various quality documentation
• Support qualification of new product, processes and/or equipment through collection and data analysis
• Support maintenance of the quality systems standards
• Other duties as assigned

This role enhances customer satisfaction through managing customer complaints while driving continuous improvement and ensuring quality objectives are met.
