• Develops, installs and evaluates process sampling systems and statistical techniques.
• Develops or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
• Analyzes production and service limitations and standards.
• Recommends revision of specifications as needed.
• Formulates or helps formulate quality policies and procedures.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Travel to customers or suppliers.
• Trains on department concepts, tools and testing equipment.
• Quantifies quality costs and develops P.O. when applicable.
• Interfaces with engineering, customers and suppliers on quality issues.
• Prepares PPAPs, FMEAs, Control plans, 5P’s or 8D’s.
• Daily reporting on Quality Circle, customer/plant issues and customer-driven reports.
