Job summary

RLDatix in Lehi, Utah is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of RLDatix applications supporting healthcare workflows. You will design and execute test plans, automate where possible, validate features in sprint cycles, and support release readiness.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other quality engineers; leverage Playwright and SQL to verify data and functionality, while applying AI-assisted approaches responsibly to improve coverage

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or related software delivery roles.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Playwright.
• Ability to use SQL queries (MySQL and/or MS SQL Server) to troubleshoot and validate application behavior.
• Strong documentation and clean test design, with ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Test development items throughout each sprint, plan and execute manual and automated regression testing before releases, and validate new features against functional requirements, user workflows, and customer expectations.
• Document defects clearly, partner with developers to resolve issues, verify fixes through release, and participate in release readiness activities.
• Create, maintain, and expand automated tests using Playwright, validate JSON payloads, API requests and responses, and error handling, and use SQL to troubleshoot issues and validate data.
• Use AI tools responsibly to support test case creation, test maintenance, and automation productivity, while reviewing AI-assisted outputs for accuracy and alignment with product behavior.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other quality engineers, provide user support and case management as needed, and communicate testing status, risks, blockers, and defects clearly.
