Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer II to plan, implement, and maintain QA programs for the Substation Division (SSD).

You will lead root-cause analysis, audits, and supplier qualification to ensure product and process quality. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3–5 years in a quality role, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with inspection tools and CAD/ERP systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering; 3–5 years in a quality role with project work and power equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations and procedures with corresponding safety attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for customers, employees and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, create and understand technical drawings and material; use inspection tools and test equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and resolve deficiencies; develop root cause and corrective action summaries for IRs and NCRs to reduce rework and warranty costs.
• Provide QA support for division developments including FMEA creation and reporting.
• Create, update and maintain quality programs, procedures and quality documents; analyze data for improvements.
• Lead internal audits and collaborate with departments; support ISO 9001 recertification and audit activities.
• Identify and evaluate quality issues across SSD, MELCO, suppliers, subcontractors, field installation and testing; drive improvements.
• Plan and execute supplier qualification activities, including supplier audits and factory acceptance tests; review supplier quality docs.
