Job summary
TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen the quality organization, driving root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing teams. The role focuses on process improvement, supplier quality, and robust quality plans to support aerospace, automotive, electronics, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate has a strong quality background, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with ERP/MES systems and CAD tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 requirements a plus.
- Minimum 2 years related experience in manufacturing quality.
- Experience in process design, optimization and measurement systems.
Responsibilities
- Review processes with assembly and testing to ensure operations follow procedures.
- Develop understanding of assembly and testing methods and evaluate tests and equipment.
- Identify quality problems and develop solutions.
- Audit suppliers and monitor quality and delivery performance.
- Initiate corrective actions with suppliers and participate in MRB meetings.
- Provide technical support to assembly and test teams and read blueprints for QIP.
