Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a senior Quality Engineer in Katy, TX to lead quality initiatives, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will manage the Quality Management System, ensure compliance with ISO 9001, and enhance supplier performance while communicating effectively with customers.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, implementation of FMEA/PPAP/APQP processes, and fostering continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Quality Engineering role in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Business preferred; other equivalent exp considered.
• Experience in aerospace, defense or military industries.
• Six sigma and lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and quality tools (8D, FMEA, 5 WHY, PPAP, APQP).
• Experience with regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach local team to maximize performance.
• Lead deployment of Quality Policies and KPI targets across the site.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS and conduct internal/external audits.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate with customers and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and training.
