Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers, a Michelin Group company, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our team. You will serve as the primary QA resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement, and design methods for process control, testing, and inspection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related experience/training.
• Lean / Six Sigma methodologies knowledge.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Proficient in SPC.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Committed to safety and follows EHS policies.
• Audit experience and ISO9001 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary QA resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement
• Design and implement methods for process control, testing, and inspection
• Support supplier quality requirements and monitor supplier performance
• Participate in internal and external quality audits
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Support New Product Project teams for smooth product transitions into manufacturing
• Assist Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing with product improvements
• Highlight potential quality issues proactively to management
• Document first article inspections (PPAP)
• Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Be Doing…

As a key member of ourQuality Assuranceteam, you will:

• Has working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
• Demonstrates excellent communication and influencing skills
• Is proficient in SPC

• Is highly detail-oriented and organized

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and keeps equipment in proper condition
• Has audit experience and familiarity with ISO9001

Environmental,Health & Safety Accountabilities:

• Learn and follow EHS policies,rulesand work instructions
• Attend required EHS training
• Wear the required PPE at all times
• Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co-workers and visitors free from injury byparticipatingin and/or conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, correctiveactionsand safety observations
• Report incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafeactsand other hazards in the workplace. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper workingcondition.
