Job summary

Exact Sciences in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a software tester to join our quality assurance team. You will participate in requirements, design, and test plan meetings and create manual and automated test cases for new features and components.

You will develop UI and REST API test scripts, run SQL queries to verify data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases in an Agile environment. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
1+ years of experience with software testing.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Participate in requirements, design, and review meetings.
Participate in development of test strategy, test plan, test cases, and risk assessment.
Create, maintain and execute test cases/test scripts (manual and automated) for new features and components.
Develop test scripts to validate UI functionality and REST APIs.
Create and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity, correctness, data transformation and data quality.
Report, track and escalation anomalies discovered during testing and ensure closure on the issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective testing for releases.
