Job summary

Parker Hannifin in North Haven, CT, seeks a Quality Engineer I to implement and assure the Parker Quality Process (PQP). You will conduct structured assignments using FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, calibration, APQP, and support site projects under guidance.

You will own PQP deployment, lead updates to FMEAs and Control Plans, perform MSA, and drive CAPA and corrective actions. The role emphasizes compliance, data-driven inspection and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Engineering degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and Parker PQP requirements into site-level quality plans and criteria
• Deploy and govern PQP tools; drive corrective actions for gaps
• Perform MSA activities and support calibration compliance
• Establish inspection reporting and data integrity controls; log nonconformances
• Lead containment and CAPA investigations; track action items
• Analyze site quality performance using SPC/KPIs and drive improvement with stakeholders
• Maintain site QMS documentation and prepare for audits
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain as needed
• Adhere to Parker policies and promote a culture of quality and safety
