Job summary
FM Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer I to drive quality goals across manufacturing. You will work cross-functionally to identify root causes of product and process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to meet customer expectations.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and familiarity with GD&T; strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required or 1–2 years in manufacturing.
- Experience driving quality improvements and corrective actions.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and quality systems.
- Proficient in MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of quality goals and objectives.
- Identify causes of product/process failures and implement CAPA.
- Lead audits and develop quality plans to meet ISO standards.
- Analyze drawings and specs to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Lead CIP/Kaizen activities and root cause analysis.
