Job summary

FM Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer I to drive quality goals across manufacturing. You will work cross-functionally to identify root causes of product and process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and familiarity with GD&T; strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required or 1–2 years in manufacturing.
  • Experience driving quality improvements and corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and quality systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of quality goals and objectives.
  • Identify causes of product/process failures and implement CAPA.
  • Lead audits and develop quality plans to meet ISO standards.
  • Analyze drawings and specs to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Lead CIP/Kaizen activities and root cause analysis.
