Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support the Plant Quality Manager in improvement projects, internal and external audits, and data-driven quality improvements. The role involves preparation for AS9100, Nadcap and customer audits, plus using statistical tools to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have a BS/BA in engineering with 0–3 years of quality experience or substantial related experience

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 0–3 years of engineering/quality experience or 10+ years of direct vapor deposition/plating/thermal coatings related experience with 2+ years of direct AS9100 Quality system related experience.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers in a collaborative environment.
• Hands-on approach with theoretical training and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems and internal auditing; proficient with MS Office.
• Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekend days as needed.
• Statistical analysis tools experience and Lean Six Sigma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Quality Manager in improvement projects and audits (internal and external).
• Assist in preparation for AS9100, Nadcap and customer audits.
• Use statistical tools to analyze quality data and identify improvements.
• Contribute to root cause and corrective action plans to meet requirements.
• Support quality activities when the Plant Quality Manager is unavailable.
