Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) seeks a Quality Assurance professional to develop and maintain inspection processes for composite components. You will interpret drawings, GD&T, and control plans, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure product quality.

The role requires 1–2 years in QA within a manufacturing setting, familiarity with CMM devices and inspection methods, plus strong communication and planning abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field and 1–2 years experience.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and apply QA methods.
• Understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in print reading, interpretation, and part measurement.
• Apply APQP concepts and QA tools (FPI, FMEA).
• Investigate quality problems and develop solutions.
• Communicate effectively and plan work with teams.
